[For the Record: EVITA is in my Ipod twice – the White Album and the UK revival recording. Having grown up on the White Album, I have always found the Broadway cast album too forced and to brassy. Ooops. Flame away. I don’t mind. The UK revival cast, though, is really good! ELAINE STRITCH AT LIBERTY is essential listening and since it involves so many stories, it goes in, bag and baggage, start to finish. ELEGIES FOR ANGLES PUNKS AND RAGING QUEENS --- meh. That’s it. Meh. However, when Brian d’arcy James sings, into the Ipod it goes. Same goes for Alice Ripley and Emily,Skinner together or apart. The rest of it, though….meh.]
